Olivia Grace

Olivia Grace

16 x 20

Okay, so here it is!  It's all finished up and I already dropped it off at the framing store!  So I'll pick it up and take it to the fair tomorrow.  Is anyone else entering in the fair?  Or maybe you already did.  Tell me about your experience, I would love to hear about it!  I will try and post a picture of the framed portrait tomorrow.

And please excuse the terrible quality of these photos.. My camera just hasn't worked the same since I threw it :)  A bee landed on it, and I freaked out.. haha.. Oops!

  2. How charming. I am so impressed that you are able to paint these so quickly. I couldnt even get them sketched onto the paper in the time you are able to get the entire project completed.

    1. Well, sadly I am a very impatient painter.. :) I see something being finished, and I just go for it! I was lucky enough to have some days off of work so I could just focus on her. Thank you so much for your kind comments!

  5. Oh such beautiful portraits - I would so love to be able to paint like this - I've tried a couple of portraits but just can't get the skin tones and shadows to work - it all ends up just looking a mess lol!!! I must keep trying though!

    1. Oh thank you Sharon! You are so sweet and kind! Yes! Keep trying! What I do is just start with light layers of the blues and yellows and reds, and it will build up nicely. But definitely don't give up!
