I started this painting a couple days ago with the hopes of getting familiar with more color in a portrait. I did this in about an hour and I had so much fun dropping in heavier amounts of paint. I am excited to do something different! This picture started as a portrait of my daughter Olivia and as I kept going, I sort of created an older version of her. Her hair is darker and her face is more grown up. I had some fun with it and allowed myself to get creative instead of painting in the lines. I hope you enjoy this quick portrait!
